Bard Workshops

The Bard Annandale series of workshops create opportunities for teachers of all subjects to experience learning through writing across all academic fields, benefiting from the supportive dialogue they find with colleagues.
Most of our workshops are in-person, but our New Kinds of Attention series is online!

  • Writer as Reader Workshops
    November 4, 2022
    Bard College IWT’s annual Writer as Reader Workshops are planned with the texts faculty regularly teach in mind, and with the overarching goal of modeling collaborative strategies that foster student engagement.

  • New Kinds of Attention Workshops
    Feb 3 & Mar 3, 2023
    These online workshops will explore how writing practices can build community and foster renewed engagement in the classroom in a moment when attention and energy for remote learning are often in short supply.
